Yes, I believe it's real. Just before they switched over the Hooah! bars to be "First Strike Bars", they were talking about having two types of Hooah! bars - "Hooah!" bars for the Army and "Ooh-rah!" bars for the Marines. It looks like Wornick decided to save on inventory costs and just printed both slogans on their packaging.

I rather have the ol' enhanced chocolate bars of early MRE's and RCW's.....
By the way.. this past weekend I opened a ol' Menu B RCW from 91' i got from ebay and its chocolate bars and brownie tasted ten times better than those HOOAH'S...

Yeah, if that Chocolate Hooah! bar is antying like the Chocolate Sports Bar in some other MREs, it's a nasty piece of work. There's chocolate in there somewhere but it mostly tastes like a bar full of chemicals.

Hate to tell you it's real as can be....I found a few digging through some opened MRE's and your right they're just down right awful!
I liken them to those original Hershey Power Bars except these ones are like getting a wad of chocolate flavour sawdust and a sore jaw. Why the military spent the time and money on these bars.....IDK. Seems like waste of money.

Those bars are laced with I-don't-know-what(caffeine, "nutrient " enhancers 
) and they taste like SHIT!!!!!.... 
Treesuit is right, it tastes like sawdust laced with mega ammounts of chocolate.....
The one in the pic??/ I got 2 of those in your grab-a boxes....
But got plenty of the other bars...yukkkk!!!!!! 
The old' chocolate bars tasted better so the old chocolate disks.....

You know for the life of me I can't figure out why the big 3 MRE manufacturers can't update the powerbars like in the civilian community? I mean, look at how many varieties they are out there besides the original Hershey power bar. Hell even something like a CLIF bar would be nice to see.
