BUt HOLY CAPOLLI - Apparently those news articles were the best advertising ever - checked the MRE prices on EBAY today? either that or the feds are buying them back.. they seem to be averging 70 to 90 bucks a CASE! plus outrageous shipping!

Bah
So its okay that if you give out $2000 debit cards, and people piss the money away on 1000$ purses and strippers, but if you sell an extra case of MREs that no one wants, (except us, and people who want to waste $100 because they're scared) all of a sudden its a big deal.. wtf..

Can anyone here spell "MISAPPROPRIATION"?
Inappropriate exploitation if the aid rendered after so much bad mouthing because they did not get it when THEY wanted it is still called fraud and is illigal.
We have to watch out for ourselves, we love our MRE's but surely some of these sources are what the government refers to as the "Black Market". I sure don't want to see some of my fellow MRE addicts under federal scrutiny.
It might payoff to be careful not to buy from the disaster areas!

Well you can always eat the evidence if the fed's come knocking on the door (LOL).
Unless these meals were sold days after the disaster, then that's terrible. But, now that almost a month has gone by. Seems to me that, the ebay MRE's from louisiana are just so much surplus property now that normal distribution of food supplies and water have returned to affected areas

SURE!
What, does she have a MRE tree in her basement? the MRE bunny appears every so often with Government Issue MRE cases? Perhaps there is a wormhole or something where they just spontanouesly appear?
bunch of cry babies
You know I notice all of you complain and cry about people selling MRE's and how they are illegal but I don't hear anyone crying about recieving stolen goods "I bet 1,000 dollars all of you are the crying buyers of the mre market or you woundn,t be on this site" I need to head to the kitchen and make you guys a warm milk bottle.
