Man, did you see all those stacks of unopened cases of military MREs? Well, it kinda makes sense now that most of the ebay sellers that are selling real military MREs at crazy auction prices come from Louisiana or Texas. Profiting off the generosity of Uncle Sam...hope they need the money more than the food.
I had a buddy who was down there, and from what he said, they were handing out MREs by the case...so, you could come by everday and pick up a new case or 2; which explains how some civilians (ebay sellers) have stockpiles of new military MREs for sale.
