I've been watching the LRRP's on Ebay too.
I placed a few bids when the price was still under $100.
can't beleive the price on it now.
I did get two cases of MRE's from a second chance sale on ebay. Price was $86 for two cases, with shipping it came to $121.00.
I want two get a few more cases to stock up on,just in case.
I just wish the prices would go down,it's getting crazy!!

Honestly, how much longer can Sopako/Wornick/Ameriqual hold out before they figure out some way to come out with genuine commercial versions (not the clear bag junk). There's way too much $$$ out there to ignore the non-military demand.

Hello
I tallied up how much food for two persons for three days would be. Not including items such as metal spoons and canteen cups this amounts to 47.00.

The items are four instant potato packs, one box of bran cereal, one box of granola peanut butter bars, four cans of beef stew, one pack of 10 peanut butter/crackers, a small box of cocoa, paper cups, instant coffee, drink mix, sweetener, instant tea, canned orange juice, wheat crackers, individual sugar, creamer, spam or sloppy joe meat, three cans beanie weenies, two cans canned fruit, paper plates, and plastic utensils.

Of course shelf life is only a year but this is something to mull over. Two MRE's per day for three days per person should do the same job.
