Not to nitpick, but you ask about civilian MREs and then put up a poll of MREs vs. IMPs? Huh?

As for which civilian MRE gives you the most bang for the buck, you can find my thoughts on the matter here:

http://www.mreinfo.com/civilian/mre/civ ... rison.html

In short, they're all good but the "buck" part is going to depend on where you buy them and what shipping costs. The Menu Cs probably have the most "bang" but the buck part is going to be a lot higher if you live on the East Coast because they have to be shipped from California. But if you live near MREDepot, you can pick them up in person and save shipping.

MREFoods.com used to have the deal on aPacks with their free shipping but they're out of stock right now.

So I'd say shop around, check out each kind from each vendor and see how much shipping is going to run you.

Good luck!
