Yep. those old .303's are a fine rifle - i have a non-jungle version myself, always shot straight and had a good punch, but i had to retire it a while ago as it's seen too many rounds now and the spent rounds were showing pressure signs
i may just have to find another at the next gun show!

When I said packs a wallop, I meant to my right shoulder. Jungle Carbines had some problem with holding zero, I've always read about. I have'nt fired mine enough to test that. I zeroed it and could consistantly shoot 3-4" groups at 100 yards/meters, with the battle sight. Nice collectible piece of history at least.
