Hi Ron. I've never seen missing spoons or anything major like that. But I have seen cases where maybe the MRE was supposed to contain cheese spread but instead had peanut butter. I usually figure the factory ran out of a certain compenent and substituted another.

ron,
Hey, don't be discouraged tha has happened to me before. I had one time and there was no spoon to eat my meal with, If nothing else you can use your fingers or some other MRE spoon, or just squeeze the pouch. It's a little harder but less mess. Kman, is quiet right. Sometimes a slip occurs at the packing plant and a item doesn't go in or something is substituted. No harm at all, just a mistake

I must admit, of the few hundred MREs that I have eaten I have never had one missing anything. I guess I have just cursed myself. I have a feeling the next case of MREs will be missing all of the heaters...LOL! What do you think treesuit?

Hey, 40 years, nothing missing, even the NAM C RAT's Dad brought home in 65 + every thing has been there even two P38's .Must be the the modern NMJ crowd (not my job, DirtyDave and thoes in Rio Linda)

Just Funin.I've been thru countless cases privetly and six years,80-86 in a field MASH unit and have never heard of a problem ,except the taste (from people that have never missed a meal in their life) and as far as that goes I've never had a menu I did'nt eat all of and gave THANKS for.
