this is in norway!
we have several hundres of bunkers and ex german fortres
around norway, the germans called norway: festhung norwegen
since they where afraid the british to attack from the sea.

this jobb was finnishd last week and now im back digging
water pipelines in a smal city.
we gott inside of the first floor of the bunker not the 2 other
floors since they was full of water :( but it doesent matter
since they was empty. so no gold for me.

il try to take more pictures of other fortreses later on this summer
if you people like to see more?
cheers from norge :D

NO! The French army ran away *really fast* when the Wehrmacht crossed the "Maginot" line so there were very few bombings (on the roads) but nothing at all on the cities. The big bombings only happened when Hitler took the control over the French industry, the Allied bombed the French factories, rail stations, harbours... and of course the towns around as the bombs from the B29's and other Lancasters where not really laser guided :?
More people were killed in Western France during the preparation of the Allied invasion (strategic cities bombing) than during the German invasion 4 years before. Anyway some people were applauding the bombers in the streets between two explosions :"Vive les Américains!" , I strongly doubt the pilots did see or hear them

Guys, I've once pissed in Hitler's personal toilets in his bunker, who else did that here? 8)

My father grew up in East Prussias Tilsit, very next to the Wolfsschanze - the Führers (most famos) HQ there.

Another "Wolf"

"Your" Wolfsschlucht 2 was built in 1940 and should be the HQ for "Operation Seelöwe" (=sea lion), the invasion of England.
Hitler has been there for once only, 17.06.1944. 11 Days after D-Day to meet his Generals v. Runstedt and (world famos) Erwin Rommel.

So you missed him very close :D

Once I want to visit and see all the western front places like Normandie, Battle of the Bulge-Area, Ardennes Forrest ect. All this places are just less than a day far from us.

Untill, Rudi (jubifahrer) and me drive to places very close to us like the "Muna-Siedlung" (Muna is short for amunition academy).

The building has the shape

of a swastika

They had a display day there

Rudi and me have been there with our Iltis and Kübelwagen also

Hi Oli,

you and Rudi were here on 15 Juni? I know there was a meeting there, but I found no time for coming. I think they have a real M60A3 battle tank there! The rations on the pics are really interesting! Is there probably a kind of museum?

So long mreheater72

WOW!

It is one of my morbid child dreams to open an old nazi bunker.
But not because I search for the amber room or gold just for adventure and historical inerrest.

As long I don't found myself placed in the Outpost movie
