US MRE 2014 Menu# 18 Beef Ravioli

Well, the US Election is tonight, and what's more American than eating the equivalent of Army Chef Boyardee!? (Disclaimer: I am Canadian. Hahaha) Still have Menus 19-24 left in my Case B, I haven't done a MRE in a while. So here it is, all the stuff... there were also raisins in this ration but I ha...

Re: 2014 UK 24hr ORP, Menu #11- Part 4: Supper

Thsnks. The Goulash wasn't as wet as I thought it would be, but it was still perhaps the best entree I've ever had.... maybe a tie with the Canadian IMP Lamp & Vegetable Stew.
Soon to lose its place as #1 on my list soon though I'm sure, with 2 different RCIR's coming. Haha

Thanks a lot! I certainly love this stuff.
Can't wait to dig into some more IMP's now.

2014 UK 24hr ORP, Menu #11- Part 4: Supper

Part 4: As a reminder, this UK 24hr ORP was sent to me as part of a trade by a great ration reviewer from Scotland who proudly served his country in Iraq! You can see him on YouTube as SCOTSMAN 1984. He sent me the actual ration itself as well as some older UK ration items and also a bunch of local ...

Re: Polish vintage S ration (2004-2014)

Great review! It certainly is interesting to see the evolution and minor changes after only a relatively short amount of time. Makes one wonder what 2024 rations will end up looking like.

Re: 2014 UK 24hr ORP, Menu #11- Part 3: Dinner

The soup tasted good, just after a while it got to be too much. I usually hate olives, and thankfully there was only one piece in the entire punch. Haha
The ORP'S are the best I've had so far, although I think the RCIR I have coming soon will take the #1 spot.

Re: 2014 UK 24hr ORP, Menu #11- Part 3: Dinner

At the liquor stores here lately they give you one of those glasses for free if you buy an 8-pack of the pint cans of either original Strongbow or the multi-flavour pack. They are great glasses, not too tall and hold a deceptively large amount of liquid. Thanks, this has been a great ration, certain...

Re: 2014 UK 24hr ORP, Menu #11- Part 2: Breakfast

The hole in the package looked like it was made by something round.... someone stuck a pen or something in it?
Thankfully the older ones were still great, really liked the taste of them.

Yeah I've never seen one before in any ORP review online. It's a UK product as well, oddly enough.
