I made a batch of Beef Bourguignon this afternoon , That's Beef Stew to all you peasants... :lol:
Beef, potato's, onion, garlic, carrots and mushrooms.
And a bottle of red wine :wink:
Most for the pot, but some for the cook.
I surprised myself (and my wife) , it was quite good :D

My daughter sent me a set of salt shakers, Chipotle (which is smoked Jalapeno's), Jalapenos, Sriracha, Habanero, and Ghost peppers, from Penzy's spice Company.

Back when I was backpacking (1965), there was a "Bacon Bar", basically cooked crumbled bacon formed into a bar.
We added it to the powdered eggs, It helped (some)... :lol:

I've had two cats, both strays who wandered into my life, who made it to 17 years with me.
Stray cats are not picky eaters, they'll eat ANYTHING!
Dry bread, old rice, frozen soup, when your hungry, it all fills the belly!
