Coffee Instant Type II is back!
I might be behind the curve on this news... but this is the first Coffee Instant Type II I've seen in MRE in awhile. Found it in a 2018 - Menu 17 - Pork Sausage Patty, Maple Flavored. Pretty cool to see as I really don't care for the "Bill's Brew", Diavolo or Genital stuff. When did they start putti...

*WINNER CHOSEN*: FREE UN PATROL COMBAT RATION FOR A REVIEW!
Hi all, I'm wanting to spread the hobby of rations by offering a "2018 - UN Patrol Combat Ration - Halal Menu 2 - Chicken & Lentils" to someone. I really would like to give this away to someone that will give it a video or text review (like here on mreinfo review section). I'll wait two weeks from t...

Re: Where is your favorite place to buy MREs?
My favorite place? My local surplus store. Keeping it local is awesome.... check around for a store near you! Mine is owned by a vietnam vet with his family and he's super cool, Helping guys like that even if the price is a few bucks more is worth it.

Re: Books, movies, articles

If anything I'd encourage anyone to read Beyond Band of Brothers the Dick Winter memoirs if you have already seen th...

Re: Happy kids eating C rations
These two are great thanks for sharing Steph. I love how they're actually spoon feeding the kids some chow. Man, I dunno there's just such mixed emotions in all these too. Probably more tragedy than anything.. but rations again bring a little beauty out of something that has very little of it other...

Re: 1941 - Scho-Ka-Kola
Thanks for the post, it was an interesting read. Do you think the smell is similar to that of modern Scho-Ka-Kola? I agree that it would be neat to see a direct comparison between the new and old Scho-Ka-Kola. Hey, thanks! I'm buying some more modern scho-ka-kola just to test that out. It's hard to...

1941 - Scho-Ka-Kola
Hey everyone, I hope your doing well in these crazy times. I just wanted to share this real oddity I happened to snag the other day. I typically don't collect German ww2 era stuff but this one is just a little item that peaks my curiosity on a few levels. I ran across this for sale from a Korean war...
