I have pretty much only had Ameriqual packed MRE so there might be some variation between the 3 packers, but the gum is pretty horrible. Flavor is good for about 20 secs. I recently spent $65 per case, but prices in CT are generally higher than a good portion of the country.

Woohoo. Got my shipment today. Got 4 pizzas (only ordered 3) and a mix of "sandwiches" and freeze dried Mountain House items. Plan on xmas gifting most of it, but will keep some.

Army Barracks is OK, but your right about limited selection. I asked about the cold weather mre and the guy said he never heard of it.
There is another army store a few doors down called Militray Specialty but dont bother. The only other one i know of is in Portland, far.

Dont know if it helps but the "npn" marking is on the current FSB/FSO 24hr rations. Russian Federal Protective Service
