I boiled a couple of pork ribs entrees in my rice cooker today and steamed some red potato's at the same time.
(the potato's were better than the ribs...)

In WW2, my father had to eat Japanese rations for a while, as the Navy dumped the troops off on an island, then took off before the supplies were unloaded... He said some of it was good, some not so good, and a lot of it was just .... strange. Plus, opening a can was interesting, you never knew what...

I think it's a great idea, but...
I'm not sure a bag of various powders will go over with the Brass Hats.(and drug sniffers)
Commercial labels would help, I think.
