I do the same, but in my kayak. Keep a little air in, and they will float in the event of a roll. Been there, done that, no fun. Lost my shoes and my lunch, but got my phone back.

Nice review, and a nice receiver. Thought I caught a little RTTY in there. My suggestion to anyone who finds this interesting, go get your amateur radio license, so you can talk as well as receive. Communication is a 2-way process, after all....

Say what you will. Politicize it all you want. Or just live in denial. In the past six months, my partner & I have lost three people close to us, one relative and two friends. Prior to Covid, I lost one friend (two years ago) to H1N1. It's easy to say that people are making a big deal out of nothing...
