I came across an unopened Russian Winter Ration with an expiration date of 10/17. Perfect condition, no bulges. What's everyone's thoughts on it still being edible? Long story short (but still rather long) I discovered a case of the civilian Mil-Spec brand MREs in my sister's garage a few days ago. Given how long ago these things ended production and the fact that these things had been stored in her garage, I figured I'd take one to test it out. https://imgur....

I'll be in France for a week in September and was wondering if there was any place to get RCIRs or other rations while I'm there.

My itinerary isn't set yet, but apparently I'll be staying in Fontainebleau with side trips to Paris and maybe Lourdes.
