Re: Feedback - Buy/Sell/Trade
Outstanding transaction with Bart, would highly recommend. There's always the chance of molestation with packages coming into the US, but this one made it through untouched and I'm REALLY looking forward to trying this ration out. Thank you, Bart! -Zed Ditto! This is about my 3rd deal with Bart. Ju...

Re: [SELL] HALAL MRE cases
I reviewed a 2016 Beef Stew Halal meal about 2 months ago and it had held up pretty well, even 2 years past date. The Beef Stew itself was really good!

Re: Civil Defense Survival Rations
I certainly didn't buy them to add to my survival stores! I don't really know what I'm going to do with them. The sealed, full carton is pretty heavy and bulky and I'm not running a museum. Do I just keep the carton nice? Open one can to test? Sell one can? I just don't know. What I DO know is that ...

Re: Polish SR-7 Ration Best by 12/15/2018
Today I ate this meal's cousin: SR-5 Chicken and rice with vegetables. This was also about two years past the Best By of 15.12.2018. https://www.teddydog.org/rations/polish_2018_sr5.jpg The only thing not so good with this meal was the dried fruit mix. It looks like it was freeze dried, but it had b...

Civil Defense Survival Rations
In the 1960s, apparently "we" were expected to "Drop and Cover", then eat some crackers, biscuits or carbohydrate supplements. I hit a couple of surplus stores today hoping to find some rations. Most were a bust except for a few standard MREs, but one place said he had some real old stuff in the bac...

Re: Fsr code date
Didn't know that. Do older ones NOT have a camouflage pattern at all, or is it just different? When was that change made? I have 2017 and 2019 production FSRs and hadn't noticed a difference. Will need to do a side-by-side.Militaryration_guy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 2:29 pmyou can also tell by the camoflauge pattern in the backdrop

The "pro" ones are both freeze dried and vacuum packed, yes?
