On the top, "ouvrir" means "open"
On the bottom "armee de l'air" means "air force". Other lines, roughly translated, mean "unitized survival ration", and "each unit contains two rations".

Re: Ever heard of rations from poorer/3rd world countries?
It’s not about them. It’s about your comment. I read your comment. You can’t do that and some how justify your comment. No, I suggest you defend your own comment and not try and hide around others. Nice try, but no. There is no foundation there. You don’t have a question. Than you don’t know what y...

Re: Ever heard of rations from poorer/3rd world countries?
“The height of German military superiority during WWII had a beginning ...” I see it again. I see you posted a lot of stuff. I reiterate what you highlighted. Despite long pages of wiki articles (which I did not source for this) and at the expense of losing track of it, let me know what your questi...

Re: Ever heard of rations from poorer/3rd world countries?
Where do I mention World War II? The following is from your initial post in this thread. "The height of German military superiority during WWII had a beginning (will give rough but, accurate dating) began around 1880 with the development of the Schlieffen Plan which outlined Wehrmacht military oper...

Re: Ever heard of rations from poorer/3rd world countries?
Howdy! Excuse my ignorance but I was wondering if y’all have ever seen/heard of rations from exiled/poor/3rd world countries. Just some names off the top of my head: North Korea, poorer African countries like Niger, Sudan, etc. I appreciate the help, I’ve always wondered what their rations would be...

Re: Buying MRE legalities & USDA Confiscation
Went to the commissary this morning. They had cases of TOTMs and MREs for sale. Believe commissary has been selling quite a few rations since the ChiCom Flu hit.

Re: Price Gouging Due to COVID-19
I was in our local commissary last week. The MRE section was bare. Empty. Stripped. Not even a single Veggie Taco Pasta TOTM left. Even before this recent madness, full MREs were edging up to over $10 each or $120+ a case. Went to the commissary today. Plenty of cases of TOTM's available, both Worn...

Re: Shopping for MREs at our local military supply
This past Saturday noticed our commissary was selling MREs again, singly and by the case. Still selling TOTMs.
