Re: Alpine Italian cold climate ration

Yeah made by the adventure menu company, I have a few of their pro rations and half day rations.

Also have a large stock of their freeze dried meals, I think they are up there with Real Turmat, very good quality.

Re: New FCIR menus?

The site I linked to in the above post has now updated their menus and it seems to include all new menus that are available under the new letter designations, so I will post their listings as per the new menus below. MENU A: Chili Con Carne, Vegetarian Lasagne, Chicken Liver Pate, Soup, Milky Desser...

Re: New FCIR menus?

I got a few of these menus a few months ago. I can list the menus here from an reliable source which is www.surplusandoutdoors.com which is a smaller UK based surplus store that I have used for many years that always seems to get fresh rations at very cheap prices, I have never mentioned it here bas...

Re: New British 24hr General Purpose Ration Pack

So tbh we need complete sealed cases, else we won't know if the contents are legit.

That's kinda screwy tbh though, being reseal only.
You would think military would require them to be fully sealed to ensure safety.

i bought a freeze dryer to make my own long term storage food
I tend to store and eat Freeze dried meals these days as opposed to just MRE's, Though I do still have a few in storage.

Re: Importing MREs from overseas?

You could maybe use the buy and trade forums here as they may have a better idea of being able to mark your parcel as camping supplies, where as a store may use more accurate descriptions.

Lots of good sellers here too.

Re: MCW Turkey Tetrazzini 2018 Meal Cold Weather

Great review.

I didn't mind this menu, It's like nothing I've had before in an freeze dried meal.
The noodles throw me off at first as the meal itself seems like a turkey and vegetable stew but it works.

I think it's as close to Thanksgiving freeze dried meal as I will get.
