Unknown Wornick Ration - Help Needed
Hey everybody, been out of the hobby for quite a while. Was pretty sick, but a new kidney and liver later I finally have an appetite and can enjoy rations again! I’ve been sampling more recent MRE additions since the last lot I bought in 2012, lol. I stumbled upon these purely on accident, and it ha...

Re: Wornick to stop packaging MREs in Texas
Great info Kman! Is it known what years MREs were produced in McAllen TX? It says they’ve had Government contracts since 2003, but also says they produced rations for 27 years prior to the article date (2006). Trying to date a light tan MRE, produced at the McAllen plant. It’s a Ham Slice Menu 1.

New additions to my collection from 1956 / 1957!
Greetings gentlemen, been a while since my last post. Broke the camper out and went camping at a friend's house, with the family this past weekend. Stormy conditions dictated driving my wife and daughter into town though, in response to their many protests to the less than stellar weather. This ende...

Angfar I have tried the beef stroganoff and tortillas soup. If you look a few threads below this one you will see the two reviews with pics. I found them quite good and have bought a few more sample packs since.

Sorry to hear that rebraunjr, but he will be heading up there 4 times a year, so I will just hope local supplies are replenished when he heads up there again in 3 months.rebraunjr wrote:For some reason they are pretty scarce right now.

Source for IMPs in Canada WTB
I have a good buddy who is headed to Montreal, Canada next month. He is okay with bringing a couple IMPs back with him for me. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any places in Montreal he could easily pickup IMPs, or if any Candian members have any for sale. He will be in Montreal for a week, so...

Beef Stroganoff Dehydrated Meal (eFoods)
Yesterday afternoon I decided to take care of making lunch for the wife, kiddo, and I so up for review is eFoods Global Harvest Beef Stroganoff. This particular meal came in two separate bags: one containing noodles, the other the Beef Stroganoff mix. The following two pics show the front and back o...
