I have some early tan bag mre's (1995 I think) that have this similar mix of the tan colour crackers, dark colours of other things like the cookie bars etc and the green retorts. Judging by that mix of clear accessory packets...

Hah, nope, not on the modern ones. They always appear to be complete and then fall apart once you've loaded them with PB & J. The older ones that included hydrogenated fat are a different matter. Those hold together much better, don't collapse on you when you eat them and they break on the lines...o...

That chocolate bar is the exact same as used in the British Cold Climate rations. In my opinion it's pretty gross but that's the only place I've seen it before. The spam and hotdogs are definitely supermarket, the hotdogs are cheapest of the cheap.
