Re: EBAY Asshat of the Month Award

How about the person who seems to be selling off their collection at ridiculously high starting bid prices? If you've been on eBay, I'm sure you've seen them. Great quality but !?!

I won't name them, they probably visit this forum. I just don't understand!

Re: Civil Defense Survival Rations

Good find! In my experience, the crackers are usually still pretty good! And that's a great price. Usually it is the shipping on eBay that kills these purchases for me.

Re: EBAY Asshat of the Month Award

Do any of y'all think we've reached, like, "Peak Ration" on eBay? I'm not talking about the high prices of MREs (which are obviously re: COVID), but pretty much anything of interest, if and when it is posted, sells for an extraordinary amount? Or, doesn't sell because it is listed at such a ridiculo...

Re: Favorite vintage MRE sweet

If the 1962/1963 Civil Defense Carbohydrate Supplement count as an "MRE sweet," then I'd say Civil Defense Carbohydrate Supplement.

They're delicious, and despite the caution involved in their carcinogenic ingredients, it's not like I'll eat all 30+ pounds of the tin!

Re: Italian Bread sticks with Jalapeno Cheese

As an American expat, that cheese looks amazing.
As a ration collector and eater, the Italian Bread Sticks are pretty meh!! I was so disappointed the first time I ate them.

(but I'd definitely eat those)

Re: Looking to buy Australian CR1M or french RCIR been dying to get one of each

Just bought an RCIR from serge502 on Ebay. Was cheap enough. Haven't bought anything from Europe since the USDA crackdown. Decided to throw the dice. Will give an update when I receive it. Very interested to hear your outcome. I've been seeing them on eBay and was in disbelief because of the prices...

Re: Coolest ration you own

lol, ok... these are Brit GS cans/items Neat! Kind of reminds me of this one I got a little while back. I am in Australia now, so I have all the rations I purchase shipped to my parents' house in the US (ha! ha!). I haven't actually seen this one in person yet . Hopefully I can go back to visi...
