Re: Mountain House MCW entrees only 3yrs???
Moisture is my issue.
After 30 years, dehydrated apple especially draws in moisture... somehow.
So the apple gets wet aka rehydrated and goes bad weeks afterward.
Need to store in dry ice or something...

Re: French 24 hour RCIR Menu 10
Menu 10 is great, but I recommend heating it up fully so it doesn't look like it's still cold.
It's best when it's all bubbly and hot! Best bet: I heat it in a barely boiling water bath on the stove until the whole dish is hot.
Esbit stove also works well for these mains.

Re: Buying MRE legalities & USDA Confiscation
I recommend Army Surplus stores and MRE e-commerce websites with good reviews.
It's also who you know, so if they have a good review here, go for it!
My Europe-sourced foreign MREs are always destroyed unfortunately by Customs.

Re: 1941 - Scho-Ka-Kola
Strange that they put 1941 right in the front and center.
I can't think of any other chocolate that puts the year up in front. Maybe they knew they would be stored away for rationing.

Masks Required?
I like the part where they require masks, but nobody sells them. It makes me LOL.
Hope this info helps!
