They pretty much wrote the book on preservation and storage, mothballing, test inspection dates and the rest of it ...

They almost look like the UN Individual Food Ration which would make sense, could have been sent as aid. The white line down the middle of the bag is throwing me off though

Hey Cavguy, I wonder if this will reduce the shelf life for long term storage? Less artificial ingredients is much more appealing, nonetheless. Steve, funny thing is the Mountain House Military-Spec Pro-Paks actually have a guaranteed 30-year shelf life when stored unopened in a cool area below 75°...

Hopefully the case is mostly intact, that excitement of opening a sealed case is worth the money spent.
