Sometimes I get two of something, usually a desert. This happen with anyone else?

Is it me or does the gum tend to vary in quality? It seems to me that sometimes the gum is good and lasts and other times it seems to not taste as good and fizzle out after several minutes.

So why does everyone here eat MREs? There are certainly better tasting food habits even if some MREs are okay tasting. What is the appeal for you?
