I just ate my first slice of Pepperoni pizza. I'm sad to say it was horrible. I could only muster two bites. I have had my share of C-rats and MRE. This is the only main course I could put in the category of inedible.

My favorite Vintage C-Rats were beans and frank chunks in tomato sauce. They were delicious hot or cold. Turkey loaf ran a close 2nd. Ham and eggs chopped was good if u cooked them. Loved those. Someone refresh my memory. I recall a MRE desert muffin top with chocolate chips. Or something similar. It was delicious.

I haven't had any MRE's since I retired from Army Reserve in 2010. I recently ordered menu 23 Pepperoni Pizza Slice from Ebay.
