I've never seen any food item that looks exactly like the ad. exept maybe ice cream from dairy queen.

actually, thats what you got in your case. I think the brown cases have chili with beans, and the full color cases have the noodles with pasta.

edit: one more thing, the spaghetti and the beef stew ones are 1lb 4oz, but eveything else is 1lb 1oz. lol, maybe they just want extra crackers.

I just bought a case of '86 MRE's. It has menus 1-8 and 12. Is it normal to not get menus 1-12? Secondly, the individual meals are marked "not for pre-flight use". That wouldn't mean much to a grunt.
