Re: RIERs on Amazon
Another great purchase from the Amazon REIR vendor. Arrived in perfect condition with an extra treat. Contacted him before purchase to see what he had in terms of Cassoulet. Got 3 and 1 Chili con Carne. $89.99, FedEx shipping included.

Re: MRE Empire!
I've just put in an order again with an Amazon vendor for 4 RIERs for $89USD. If you type in French RCIR in Amazon, he pops up in the first ten items. He ships FedEx from Poland, I think. Has great communication. Gets back to me the next day. This time around I got 3 Duck Cassoulet and 1 Chili con C...

RIERs on Amazon
Over the years, I've purchased a good few of French 8hr. rations, but haven't done so since customs was cracking down. I was purchasing a French RCIR on Amazon which was in the US. I saw a listing for 4 RIERs for $89. Messaged the person to see if they had cassoulet and they did, so I pulled the tri...

Re: MRE Empire!
Bought from them last year. Got the items in a timely manner, but damned customs took out the mains. I only buy foreign MREs now that are already in the States.

Re: New FCIR menus?
Great that Menu 9 remains the same. That is my favorite.

Re: New British 24hr General Purpose Ration Pack
I lost track of when ORPs went from boxes to bags. My newer OPRs in the tan bags are sealed, but do not reseal.

Re: New British 24hr General Purpose Ration Pack
Isn't there a tear strip to get into the bag initially, then the resealable sides can engage?

Re: Done with MREs
I own a few US MREs as collectibles. Not really interested in eating them. Most, like the pizza ration is geared fora 5th graders school lunch. I enjoy French RCIRs and never had a digestive issue or thought I could get tired of eating those great cans of goodness.

Re: Interesting French ration
The guy in WA was the vendor I got the T9. There are a couple YT reviews on the bags saying they are a civilian version of the RCIR. Kind of makes sense since all the food items are essentially commercially available in stores.
