Not much, just onto the tin of pork and chicken minced ham, which made me think it was damaged en route to Jolly Olde England. Otherwise the co...

Re: Inside a Rare 2017 Prison Guard Ration

Have mailed my brother in New Zealand to see if the prison service there does a ration. He's a screw so if any one would know it would be him. Shall report back.

That Cresson Kearney was responsible for the "adoption of the jungle field ration and the jungle hammock as standard equipment by the US Army in World War II" (those words are straight from Wikipedia). I first read NWSS 30 years ago, when as a ten year old , I was trying to convince me dad to dig a ...

Re: FRENCH RCIR #1 OSTRICH IN CRANBERRY SAUCE

Just looking at my usual ration supplier here: https://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop ... 74552.html

No ostrich on any of the menus, bah. Might take a punt though as you never know.

Re: DATREX "Life on the Sea with nothing but these" and 2 of my favorite canned goods.

Haha, brilliant video.

Never tried Datrex rations. On all the ships I've been on all rafts/boats were stocked with Seven Oceans, which I quite like the taste of in spite of the denseness.

Just reading - Datrex claim to be none "thirst provoking"! All food is thirst provoking lol.
