Garron, you should have been around Castlemartin near Pembroke (in South West Wales) during the early 1990's. There used to be a bunch of German soldiers who used drive Leopard tanks around the Welsh countryside based there (from the 1960's to the mid 1990's). Just afer the reunification of Germany ...

I also heard on the news that a German plane full of EPAs had difficulty getting permission to land in the US. They must have landed somewhere in the end, but I don't know if the EPAs got to their intended destination.

Their new 'Hot food kits' contain the Canadian MRE heaters - I guess you might see them in the British issue ration boxes soon.

That looks like them - sort off a supersized US one. Kman, I've emailed you some photos of the heaters (sorry I can't post them on the forum as I've no webspace). From my point of view they are great as they are big enough to fit the British army ration pouches. The bad news is that Ive only got two...
