You say strange but for me, it's like a favourite carrot juice combo (right next to carrot-apple-raspberry). Kinda curious how it being heavier on apples than carrots would change the enjoyment.

According to the description they're past expiration date and were a part of a display so possibly not in the best shape.

To be honest, I've still no idea but finally managed to figure out what I could compare the texture to. It was very similar to duck breast when roasted. It's not stringy like chicken meat would be but a bit on the "mushy" side.
