Just got a new version of cheese spread. I though there was only plain and Jalapeno, but it turns out that there is a 3rd. Cheese spread with Bacon, I'm looking forward to trying it.

Cheese spread any day. It's much better warmed. So is the bread or cracker. Peanut butter is good nutritionally, but kind of hard to swallow, especially on the wheat bread. Jalapeno is the best cheese. All IMO. MRE cheese isn't exactly the best cheese in the world LOL but I eat what's in the bag. U...

One type that I DON"T like is the little packets often found in the MRE accessory bag. They use aspartame which tends to make me ill. I have to avoid them.

I was once friends with a USN vet who was in just after WWII, (1950's I think) and he told me stories of eating green eggs on Midway Island that were older than he was.

I prefer the Jalapeno cheese spread. I like the chunky PB over the smooth stuff. The smooth stuff has a weird way of coming back a day or two after eating it. I'd let out a little peanut belch days after eating it, that was worrisome.
