Re: Red Pepper

The crushed stuff in MREs?
It all depends if you like spicy stuff mate,
Best bet, give it a little sprinkle and try, If you like it go for it, I love spicy food so it's great for me.

Re: A 6 y.o. MRE reviewer's first video

Steve's got some strong competition there, that video will certainly cure anyone's Monday blues.

Please tell her, awesome job and I'd love to see more videos.

Re: 2015 Lithuanian Ration "Beef Stew" Nr.10

The crackers in the Lithuanian rations are probably my favorite of any ration cracker/biscuit. The caraway seeds really give them great flavor. I really like their lemon beverage as well. I'm not a fan of the caraway seeds, I've got a Polish SRG waiting to be reviewed so I'll avoid them as they are...

Re: I need all current 2016 UK rations lists. Can anyone help?

They learnt a few lessons from the old Menu A-G, which were much the same for years. You won't know the menu until you open each pack there is an evaluation form with 3 columns, Like, OK, Dislike, it that lists everything inside. I've got friends serving and I've had meals they haven't even tried, m...

This was supposed to be my first video review but I bottled it last minute and went for an old fashioned picture review  This arrived today, 2013 (3298) Menu 7 Beef Brisket and it was my dinner after work. IMG_20170308_173130.jpg Everything plated up, that reminds me I need to get a tray. IMG_...

Re: French RCIR - Menu 4

The French need to work on the drinks, I've had 2 RCIRs and both isotonic drink were made and poured away, the mint flavour was terrible, the orange was just bad, both were just weak/bland flavoured but salty and sweet at the same time.

Re: Menu 20, Pork Sausage with Cream Gravy.

Garron, really you can think of our "gravy" as really a cream sauce. Made the same way. Start with a fat and flour, turn it into a roux then add cream or milk. Often times the fat is based around fat rendered from cooking pork. Our version of breakfast pork is basically pork ground into burger, the...

Re: Menu 20, Pork Sausage with Cream Gravy.

I'd like to try a fresh one of these as it's not a meal we have in the UK, you hear sausage and gravy and biscuits and gravy on US shows and it's always intrigued me.

Awesome review mate, looks like a good pack.

It shares a few items with British ORPs, the cookies and cream cereal bars are great probably my favourite snack from them and yeah they look like you could build a road with them :D
