Re: New guy here

I'm so sorry for the almost year long delay.. it's been a crazy year, currently starting a new job and have a baby coming in a few weeks! We weren't issued anything out of the ordinary. Just pick an MRE and go. That may be different on deployment, I never spent time overseas. I have a friend in Afg...

Re: New guy here

Hey everyone, pretty excited to be here. I have just recently gotten out of the US Army, I served as a UH-60 Crew Chief. I stumbled upon Steve on YouTube and became intrigued in MRE's from around the world. I couldn't even tell you how many hours I've watched Steve on YouTube at this point. I was a...

Re: Pizza MRE Won't Debut Until 2018

Next year, plans call for the Army to cut the pork rib , chicken pesto pasta, fried rice, wheat snack bread, turkey nuggets, raisin nut mix , fudge brownie and Ranger bar options from its menu. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... two of my faves... received 6 pork rib entrees last week... will order m...

Re: My Memorial Day tribute

What a beautiful article. It fills my heart with melancholy to know that almost all WW2 veterans of all nations will soon leave this Earth in less than a decade's time, if not sooner. It appears war veterans often hold deep connections with their service rifles, especially from that era. I don't kno...

Re: Just had my first MRE

Thanks for your welcoming, gentlemen (I presume). I went back to pick some more MREs up and talked to the owner for a bit. He said MREs can hold for 10 years but the box only says 3 years. I guess if i'm going to put this in my go bag I should stick to brand new MREs and change em out every couple ...

Re: Indonesian T2 P & FD-3

Where would one get an Indonesian ration, or any ration from Southeast Asia? I haven't been on the search for a ration in a while but I would like to continue the hobby with something exotic compared to the standard North American or European ration.
By the way, nice review Steve!

~ Cheers!

Re: Entree quality

I'd like some other opinions on this - Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but it seems to me that the foreign entrees that I've had so far (Canadian, Polish, Lithuanian, and French) have been far superior to the American entrees. I haven't had a bad American entrée, but they don't seem to have the same...
