Re: Not trying to complain but it needs to be addressed

Militaryration_guy, I'd be happy to answer your questions...second one first... Q. Why [is] the system is rigged up to require reactivation after changing your email? The main reason for this is because that's the default for phpBB (the software this forum uses). This gives me the chance to validate...

HBO looking for MRE enthusiasts

Hi all. I was recently contacted by a television producer for HBO looking for suggestions of who he could talk to for an HBO docuseries about eating older rations. I had a long talk with him and he seems genuinely interested in hearing about our passion for collecting, sampling, and sharing older ra...

Re: a most horrific scene... not for the weak of heart

Also, it's a slightly unfair comparison to make, but in general, these three movies match up to similar US movies like this: Salyut 7 = Apollo 13 Sputnik = The Thing T-34 = Fury I'm not at all saying these Russian movies are copies of the US movies - they're each unique. I'd put Salyut 7 on par with...

Re: a most horrific scene... not for the weak of heart

However, I did miss that ration scene (on the road)...but I did catch the one where they were in the...

Re: Has anybody seen these ?

First time I've seen them. Tasty rice with juicy meat! How can anyone resist? :-) But seriously - looks like you pour water into the instant rice and sit it on top of a flameless ration heater to heat up the whole mess. Nice use of the technology.

Re: Suggestion: Increase profile picture size

Your avatar picture needs to be 100x100 pixels and no more than 6k in size. You can use a free graphics program like IrfanView (for PC) or GraphicConverter (for Mac) to help you resize your picture to fit those dimensions.
