Re: Bridgford Ready To Eat Sandwich

I have used them on the trail
They are nice to have when you go on a hike. If you have a fruit bar and a powdered drink it is a fairly good lunch.
Compact , clean, easy to eat with one hand and I thought the BBQ flavor was not that bad

Re: Question: Russian IRPs

I think for a set of three it is a fair price. I like the IRP entrees, one set will last a fair amount of time on a camping trip

Re: What Did WW2 Soldiers Eat 1943

This was an outstanding film for those interested in the subject of military rations. They covered in garrison meals prepared by cooks and combat field rations. I did not know the U.S. did the type of testing for vitamin intake in this time period. The K ration portion of the film was of great inter...

Re: EPa "Typ I" vs. (advanced) "Typ 1"

Nice photos and I have a few questions about one item in particular.
How does the the orange desert creme taste?
Is this a topping spread for bread like jam or do you eat this in the manner of pudding?
Thanks for sharing

Re: South Korean Ration/ Field Rations

This vid was most interesting to me as I work with Korean men who served in the 1970's. The story about Vietnam war field rations was fascinating and informative, The sections where different age groups of veterans tasted various rations was also very interesting. Very impressive rations, with a gre...
