I got a case just like that to with the shorter inspection date, my case is also packed 1980 but i dont remember the Lot nr.

yes thats the most close

it did not taste like Wheat Snack Bread , i had peanut butter and jam on it and it was fluffy, moist and not chewy

Not 2011, the US Army used only fresh stock MREs and FSR

and pictures, the slices are thiner than the bread that comes in the norwegian rations that have been made in the US. cheers ken

Today i got some more mre stuff and got a Recovery Bar, Salted Caramel Marshmallow Crisp
DP of this mres was 2022 The Recovery bar have the date code 2011
