Re: Maple Sausage
I tried one of these, and it really lacked a "sausage" flavor. The main taste is the sweet maple syrup flavor, which I thought was too much. Not enough sausage flavor. Not bad, just not quite what I was expecting. I'd really like to see a breakfast sausage item that tastes like actual breakfast saus...

Re: 2010 Menu #5 "Chicken with Tomatoes and Feta Cheese"
I had mine with Mexican Corn and Mexican Rice. The Mexican Corn was like creamed corn, with a little added spice. Pretty much exactly like creamed corn. Good, assuming you like creamed corn. The Mexican Rice was merely OK. Clearly was rice, but the taste and texture were just a little off. Not bad, ...

Re: 2010 Menu #5 "Chicken with Tomatoes and Feta Cheese"
Just had one of these, and like you I thought it pretty darn tasty. The meat in mine looked like shredded chicken, but there was a lot of it, and it was pretty clearly real chicken - not something that was chopped/minced/ground and formed. Tasty sauce. No chunks of feta cheese, but I thought I caugh...

Flat Bread, Shelf Stable
With my order from The Epicenter, I got some of the Flat Bread, shelf stable. This is supposed to be the same bread used in the FSR pocket sandwiches. Ripped one open. My first reaction was that it really smelled like bread. You bite into it, and you get a nicely chewy feel. Reminds me a little of y...

Agree- food is such a personal preference kind of thing. What I hate, you might love.
For me, it just doesn't do it.

Review - Honey Chicken BBQ FSR sandwich
One other sandwich out of my recent order from The Epicenter - the honey BBQ chicken sandwich. I liked this pretty well. Wished it had had a bit more BBQ chicken in it, but otherwise pretty good. Ate part cold, and it was OK. Microwaved the other part, and liked it even better warm. The BBQ filling ...

Review - Bacon Cheddar FSR sandwich
Tried one of the bacon cheddar FSR sandwiches. Got mine at The Epicenter. Didn't like it. Won't be buying more. There were a couple of actual strips of bacon in the middle of the thing. That is the good part. The bread is different than other FSR pocket sandwiches and seemed dry and dense. Similar t...

Review - Cinnamon Bun, Shelf Stable
Ordered some things from Epicenter, and got a couple of the FSR sandwich items Today I tried out the Cinnamon Bun, Shelf Stable. I liked it. Opening the package reveals something that looks a little like a thick pop-tart. The bread part was more like bread, not the dense crust of a pop-tart. "Bun" i...
