Re: Best BlackDogBob Sale Ever!!! Grab Bag!

Wow, this is very cool! And a great adventure seeing what everyone is getting as they ship. I didn't see this post until just now. Bob, do you know how many of the original 58 boxes are still available? Money's pretty tight right now (as usual), but I'm very tempted by this neat offer!

Re: Australian Military Junior Cadets 24 Hour Ration pack

Thanks for responding before I got a chance to get back cavguy! That's pretty much what I was going to say. But I did have another thought too. Yes, the TOTMs are indeed designed for adults who are in classroom or other non-field type training where less calories and nutrients would be needed. But, ...

Re: Australian Military Junior Cadets 24 Hour Ration pack

Wow, that's really cool! Thanks for sharing it here Dropbear! I can't say I'm an expert on Australian rations, but have certainly never seen or heard of those before. It kind of reminds me of the U.S. TOTMS in that it seems to be all genuine military ration components supplied by the government, but...

That IS ridiculous! But, even though the price is a tad on the high side (to say the least), my favorite part of that listing is the fact that the item is listed as "Used"! Not what you want to hear when shopping for toilet paper!

Whoa, I JUST saw this post (been a while since I've been able to check in). I can't believe you had 2016 IMPs Bob! You truly seem to be the King of IMPs!

Re: Trekking Burger - A Cheeseburger In A Can

Here's my take on the Trekking Burger:

I almost hate to say that it wasn't all that bad, but apart from the disgustingly soggy bottom bun, it really WASN'T all that bad!

Re: Trekking Burger - A Cheeseburger In A Can

I've done a review myself of the Trekking Burger (is was very generously sent to me by Steve)! Hopefully it will be up in the next week or so, once it's all edited and everything. Good news: I survived the experience!

Re: Has anyone tried an Astronaut / Space MRE's yet?

Hey everyone, I've tried out the Russian "Space Food"! While it's definitely a commercial product, it's still pretty interesting, and kind of neat that it actually comes from Russia. Here's my review of the six tubes I got: https://youtu.be/lO3gyJ--MvE If anyone wants to try it out you can find it a...

Re: Tube Foods

I've been meaning to reply to this thread for a while, but finally got around to it. Wanted to mention that IKEA stores have a couple tube foods. They have (or at least used to have) a tube of salmon spread that was delicious! I haven't seen it lately, but they do currently have something called Kal...
