Thanks for the reply. I'm not too concerned about the time involved. I got these just for emergencys altough I'll probably rotate them by using them when I go fishing etc. I'll probably start repkacing the used ones with sopaks.

Hi, having not found this site until after I ordered and therefore not knowing any better, I ordered some commercial MREs which were made at the Evansville plant. They are not as bad as I would have assumed by reading here first but they aren't as generously packaged as the milspec ones or Sopak one...
