Re: CCARS
I too was expecting to see at least something included that was processed using the Vacuum Microwave Drying (VMD) process. But by checking out the reviews of those foods from YouTuber's it seems like the byproducts of that tech were maybe also not so popular with the soldiers were part of the CCAR t...
Re: CCARS
I am sure many of you have seen there is a guy that has been selling CCAR's on eBay for the last 2 weeks. I was also able to acquire one of each menu (1, 2 & 3) to try out and I must say after trying menu 3 (Beef Stew, High Energy), I am HIGHLY disappointed... First off, this ration is a collection ...

I am not sure if they make this type of ration anymore though. As for value, as most of that stuff may ...

Re: New British 24hr General Purpose Ration Pack
Sadly, in my opinion, something changed in the quality of the UK ration packs after the Multi-Climate trial packs. The main meals with beans in them are super bland. The taste of the snack items / side items just became more "processed" and corn syrup/sugary. I also still miss the old biscuits brown...

Re: Done with MREs
I agree! Even in the Military we are pretty much guaranteed 1 hot meal a day. If you are ever stuck eating 3 MRE's a day your life is very bad.
