I'm an admitted FALoholic; get 'em while the gettin' is good. Who would have thought that today is "the good ol' days" and that we'd ever get them back after Clinton? I'd grab .223 and a can of Progresso Hearty Chicken soup before I'd grab a FAL........ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v315/turboma...

Thanks 4 the kind comments. I prefer a box of Tuna Helper and a can of dolphin-safe tuna [packed in water] to any MRE. Some of you may recall I first posted at MRE Info after last year's Hurricane Rita after becoming dreadfully flatulent on a fresh FEMA MRE. I sold one of my six FALs to my brother-i...

The M1 rifle is H&R dated 1956. The top gun is a Springfield Armory M1A-NM w/ custom glass bedded into an M1...

Awww man! I would've gladly shipped them out ........

Here's an honest-to-gawd 15 y.o. story: My dog took the pork patty and buried it so that it could "rest" and "age" properly in the ground before serving.

Those old MREs are gone. We live in one of the few places in coastal Louisiana that was spared from Katrina and Rita so having emergency rations and food supply is paramount. I shall test MRE entrees for digestive function. But, it's hard to beat common canned foodstuffs for taste, nutrition, variet...

I was a two-time loser. I finally got it right on this last go-around. She's gone through the entire kitchen and found these ancient MREs. We'd both be scared to eat them. As you may recall a couple of months back, I posted to describe the aftermath of eating a brand-new beef ravioli MRE for lunch r...

Wife Dismantling MRE Stash

My wife found my two cases of MREs of 1987 vintage and is kicking them [and maybe me] to the curb.
