You need to fill out a special customs declaration where you have to proof from where the meet comes from, that it is free from germs, that the seller (!) is allowed to import into EU (there is a list of US companies they are allowed to export meet into EU) and it need to be filled out into your na...

Just a question about the customs. Isn't it only fresh meet and dairy product which cannot be exported/imported? According to the MRE's longevity, it can hardly be considered as fresh. It also depends on what you fill in as the goods description.
