Re: Anyone have the new UK multiclimate rations?
Saul No I havent had the all day brekkie tet :( but if its as good as you say, Result! A great leap forward in mankinds constant struggle to achieve decent retort eggies. Right about the oatcake bikkie. Mind you, the rot set in when they took out real instant porridge many moons ago. This jam...

Re: Anyone have the new UK multiclimate rations?
The slip cover will be for public sales only, past rations have been in a brown box with 'MOD USE ONLY - NOT FOR RESALE' printed on the lid, I'd expect the same for the issue version. There is tea, it sadly just a Typhoo tea bag and not the 'INSTANT WHITE TEA'. There is omelette in the 'All Day Brea...

Re: Anyone have the new UK multiclimate rations?
I wonder if the troops are actually being heard. I remember in that video about the new rations, the military presenter was saying how the rations were commercially produced and had feedback cards. It would seem like these even less military rations than the previous model. The other thing I notice...

Re: Anyone have the new UK multiclimate rations?
Well, these rations arrived today. I've had a look through both the MCR Menu 18 and the day ration Menu 7, I must say I'm not impressed. Now I know when we normally buy rations there is every chance something will be missing or different, but that's part of the deal when it comes to buying surplus k...

Re: Anyone have the new UK multiclimate rations?
I was thinking about getting these but so far no one has done a food review on any menu. If we could see one up close I'd be up for buying a few. Hopefully these will arrive this week and I can do a review and get some decent images up on here. Or if you're brave enough and possess the resources to...

Re: British Training Rations
Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I was thinking about these the other week and wondered if they really existed or were something that had been thrown together for the exercise we were on in 2001. I had some bits and pieces left of some of them until last year when I had a clear out, but I rem...

Re: Anyone have the new UK multiclimate rations?
I have one of the MCR's on order(Menu 18) as well as one of the new 'day' rations(Menu 7) on order. Looking over the menu's of these new rations, whilst not being a fish eater, I'm pretty horrified at the amount of Tuna that is in these. I recently consumed a case of the latest rations whilst in Ger...
