When I was overseas in south-east Asia I notices that is some American made goods. The thing is most of those goods are food as chips, milk products, dried fruits (California) and other stuff. Personally I will go with the Maverick 88 as it's only 200 bucks and it does the job. Plus since you live close to Russia, I am guessing Saiga should be cheap around where you live. Have you thought about buying a Baikal? cause in Canada we got some really nice semi auto for 300 bucks and they work....

Thanks for the insights in using the FRH to heat up the MREs. I have been using the green bag flameless ration heaters which should work way better then the older ones. Just a question to the folks who ate a lot MREs, and I feel like I am not using the heaters properly.
