Since this topic now has carried within it US world history, it might as well contain information about Covid-19. The latest prediction here was that a recession was looming. Well now we are darn well in it. Can’t predict how fast or slow we’ll emerge from this economic situation because of the countless layoffs which includes store chains as well as universities.

I would be remiss if I didn’t recommend something in this pandemic. I own all 3 of these books and recommend them. What I don’t recommend is to rely on everything that is online for information, only. Read these books by clicking the links below to help you learn crisis management. And don’t freak out.

The country is now experiencing 1930’s “depression” levels. Unemployment is way too high. And is having a ripple effect.

Maybe it's time to make a new topic. We're officially in a new recession. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronavirus_recession
If we don't study the mistakes of the future, we're bound to repeat them for the first time.

Thanks for that Wikipedia article. Here’s some categorical links for the general reader: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11069

Recommend reading through this thread as it contains some important history. It may even deserve an index.
