Army Ranger Kills Enemy With MRE Spoon
Army Ranger Kills Enemy With MRE Spoon
This one is slightly MRE related. Just saw this on the interwebs from last year apparently. It's on the internet so it has to be true. I don't think this technique is in the army handbook or in the Natick SOPs.

Gnarly. What I wanna know is, was he using the scoop or the end of the handle? After grabbing the spoon, he began stabbing the enemy in the neck until he was dead.

I hear ya on that one. Now we'll have to think twice about a Ranger armed with a MRE spoon.Simon2002mre wrote:Man, talk about savage fightingNighthawk1097 wrote:Gnarly. That one's been going around for years, you'll find it popping up every now and then without any "actionable" info.
I'm using my computer's spare resources to help find cures for diseases, analyze astronomical data, render 3D animations, simulate new materials and run climate models--what is your computer doing? http://boinc.berkeley.edu/ Or ask me for help!

I'm not surprised. It sounds very much like one of those "guess what I just heard" stories. I still thought it a bit too "out there" to not share with the forum.noderaser wrote:That one's been going around for years, you'll find it popping up every now and then without any "actionable" info.
