The Joy of field cooking

Postby Delicious » Sat Aug 26, 2017 3:14 pm

Hey,
My friend from Ireland sent me a link to a blog abut field cooking, mess kits etc. Maybe it is known to you (it is a bit older - the newest post is from 2015), but I haven't seen it on the forum.
It is really interesting and I will try to repeat some of these recipes. The navigation on this blog is a bit odd but you can always use the archive tree on the right side

Have access to: Polish, Russian, French, UK, US, sometimes other.
Interested in:Swedish/Finnish, Chinese, Korean, New Zealand , Hungarian, HDR

It certainly is a bit "odd" to navigate but may prove interesting

Yeah, its a great site. I've used some of his ratio theories to help convert some of the WWII recipes in the TM 10-405 manual.
Tried- Brit 24hr, FSR, MCW, IMP, EPA II, RCIR, Spanish IMP/lunch, Norwegian Arctic Ration, Brown Bag Corned Beef Hash MRE
