Central and South American Rations?

Looking through the forums and I realized I had never seen a ration from Central or South America. I understand that some countries on those regions might not manufacture their own rations and instead they might import some from other nations such as the united States or such. But Obviously some of these countries have the capability to manufacture and produce rations for their militaries, governments, and civilian markets. Countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Columbia, and Argentina for example. And also many of these counties had military juntas ruling for some years in the 20th century. Wouldn't these countries have then mass produced rations for their forces?

They are super rare. I know Kiwi Dude has a done a review on one from Chile and both of us have done the mains from the Argentine forces. I had spoke with a gentleman that said he could probably get some things from that part of the world but nothing ever came of it. There is a review of a Brazilian ration right here on mreinfo someplace.

Cheers

Thanks for the links!
I can't help but laugh at the picture of the rice pack looking like it's melting on the ration heater and how the topic just swayed into tapioca pudding and the Cassava plant

I have FINALLY, and I mean literally just today, found a Mexican MRE. Have a buddy that is down there doing some contract work and he scored me three of them. He will be back in the states the first part of October. I will meet with him on my way to Doswell. I will keep one, giving one to the museum, and we will auction the third one during the meetup and symposium for the
fundraiser auction for the museum.

What museum? It's cool to see a museum to show interest in MREs
