This is quite an old thread, but I found these images while watching a presentation about DDR Bunkers:

That video link to the DDR bunkers (way cool, BTW :D ) made me wonder if the cold war bunkers in the UK used British 24 hour rations or something else. Anyone from the UK or anyone else who might know please let me know? Thanks.

I was going to post some of the pictures of my complete DDR case I got several years back but my drive got busted.:-(
I have a full case od DDR rations dated from 1989-90.
I was able to open the canned bread and it has a nice smell but the looks were not right....
As soon as I get new pics . I will post them.

Wow, you sure can tell that they are military bunkers from the photos; here in the states many of the AT&T autovon switching centers and other AT&T bunker photos showed pool tables and ping-pong tables in one or two of the rooms!

Finally I was able to get some of these pics loaded. Enjoy!
The box originally came sealed with a plastic wraparound.

Anyway someone can post some photos of the labels on the entrees and the bread? Showing the back side especially. I'm attempting to rerpoduce them for re-enacting purposes. Thanks!
