Dead Links

Postby FunkOffJack » Fri Jan 06, 2017 2:39 am

I noticed that there are links all over the site that are no longer working and are crossed out. When sites go down, it makes it so newer member can't follow those links and read the information they contain. I have a solution: I always track down an archived copy using the Wayback Machine website.

This evening, I gathered a list of 222 pages on the MREInfo, com site and found every instance of a dead link and where possible/made sense, tracked down an archived copy.

The list below is structured as follows:

Page link is found

Current URL
Archive Url
Defense Supply Center Philadelphia.

I usually just ask someone if I can't find exactly what I am looking for. Menus change, it's hard to keep everything updated. The DLA website is just a click away for all your US questions.

Unfortunately, it looks like they've redesigned/screwed up the DSCP/DLA site again. I tried to find something quickly a couple of days ago and hit a brick wall.
